In 1991, New City established itself with the production and distribution of the feature film “The Bikini Car Wash Company,” creating both a phenomenon and reinventing the ‘Bikini Movie’ genre. Since then, New City has gone on to create several divisions that include: “After Dark;” Torchlight Pictures; Metropolis Productions; and Player Entertainment.

New City’s “After Dark” label has produced over 45 motion pictures in such adult themed genres as bikini, science- fiction, T & A romps, and erotic thrillers. These programs have all aired on the HBO Network. In addition, the company has executive produced several late-night half-hour series for the Cinemax Channel. The most recent of these series, “The Erotic Traveler,” premiered in February 2007.

New City also produces and owns over 50 (55-minute) adult reality events under the Metropolis banner. Many of these events were featured on the DVD line “Playboy’s Exposed.”

Another New City brand is Player Entertainmet. Player features talented beautiful and topless women in exotic locales.

Under its Torchlight Pictures division, New City continues to produce and control worldwide rights to 135 erotic feature films made exclusively for DirecTV, Hot Choice, TVN and British Sky Broadcasting.

With such an extensive library of satellite and pay cable television product New City is the largest independent soft erotic programming supplier in the United States. The company continues to explore worldwide VOD and digital media opportunities.
